Beer Nutz???

Just caught a show called "Beer Nutz" on American High Definition Cable Television.
The show is two guys wandering around a different city each week, visiting brew pubs and asking stupid questions.
The episode I watched took place in San Francisco. At one point they visit a restaurant called the 21st Amendment, which was named after the Amendment to the United States Constitution which ended prohibition. On Beer Nutz they flash an info screen which reads:
1936 - The Prohibition of intoxicating liquors is hereby repealed.
The problem is that the 21st amendment was passed in 1933, not 1936.
I can understand someone misspeaking a date, but when you are making a show and providing information which was hopefully researched, and you go as far as to create a graphic, at least get the goddamn dates right.
They also get a chance to talk with the legendary Fritz Maytag of Anchor Brewing - but spend less than 5 minutes of show time with him. And that is the longest they spend on any segment - 9 segments over the course of a 30 minute show (including commercials) - how can you learn anything?
The show is uninteresting and the hosts don't seem to know a damn thing about beer.
The worst part of the show (besides the hosts) is the "rating system" which they use to give people and places from 1 to 5 "kegs". (Fritz got 5 Kegs)
Crap which must be avoided. I give this show 5 "It Sucks".
I heard about this show a while back, but alas, I don't get HDCable. I am not surprised to learn that the Beer Nutz don't know anything about beer. Sadly, most don't.

On a similar channel (if not the same one) there is a show called Three Sheets where a guy goes all over the world to bars and distilleries. Kind of a fun show to have on in the background.

Lay off. This show is the ONLY form of entertainment beer lovers have on TV. I like seeing all of these places I want to go but can't get to this year (Hair of the Dog, etc.). So what if they get a date wrong. While, yes, it is unprofessional...who cares?

This show is the lamest thing I've ever seen. I've tried to watch it several times, and every time I've been disappointed. I am a huge fan of beer... and no I'm not one of those jerks who will ask you how many monasteries in Norway brew a certain style of beer. I just love a great beer, brew my own, and want to know which micro breweries to stop by on my travels. Therefore, when hearing the gist of what this show is about, I figured that it had to be good... I mean, how could it fail?!
Let me explain...
These hosts don't know squat. It doesn't even seem like they enjoy beer. Half the time, they only order a few ounces and just take a sip! Then when they get a full pint, they sip it like a girlfriend who hates it, but will drink it to please you.
Sorry if I'm ranting, but these guys and this show just disgust me. But on top of all their random ratings and sipping two beers per location, these guys have no personality. They don't ask pertinent questions, show us anything of substance behind the scenes, or spend a long enough time at any brewery.
Sorry... these guys just make me mad. How could you not be laughing, excited, or enthusiastic about beer? These guys make me want to stop drinking beer... and that is damn near impossible to do.
Luckily Mojo has hit gold with Three Sheets. Zane is possibly the most amazing host that there has ever been, and on top of that, they actually teach you something about every type of booze they drink.
So in conclusion... Beer Nutz should go to hell and die, and I hope Three Sheets and Zane Lamprey live forever!
